Job Overview

SWT Health & Safety is a veteran-owned NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner delivering industry-leading Health and Safety qualifications. We’re looking for an experienced and engaging IOSH / NEBOSH Trainer to join our growing delivery team.

This role is ideal for someone who’s been there and done it — a professional who can bring real-world examples, context, and energy to the classroom.
You’ll deliver accredited IOSH and NEBOSH courses to learners across sectors, including construction, utilities, and defence, ensuring every delegate leaves with the skills and confidence to apply health and safety best practice on the job.

We’re looking for a personable, professional trainer with credibility and classroom presence — someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine desire to see others progress.

You’ll bring:

  • At least 3–5 years’ Health & Safety experience in an operational or management role

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS / AET or higher)

  • NEBOSH Certificate (minimum) – Diploma or equivalent desirable

  • IOSH-approved trainer status (or ability to gain approval)

  • Experience in delivering to mixed learner groups (military experience an advantage)

  • Strong communication skills, professional integrity, and a learner-first approach

Ensure high-quality learning experiences that reflect Southwest Health & Safety’s delivery standards

Maintain accurate learner records, attendance logs, and course documentation
