CITB Site Safety Plus Trainer

We’re looking for a confident, approachable professional who can combine technical knowledge with hands-on credibility.

You’ll bring:

• 3–5 years’ recent construction or civil engineering site experience (essential)

• A teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or higher)

• Current CITB Site Safety Plus Trainer Approval (or eligibility for approval)

• Strong understanding of CDM, risk management, and site supervision principles

• A down-to-earth, “muddy boots” approach — able to connect with all levels of the workforce

• The confidence to lead a classroom and keep training relatable and practical

Provide structured, engaging training to a variety of learners, from operatives to site managers

Maintain accurate course records, registers, and learner documentation

Contribute to course quality assurance and continuous improvement

Represent Southwest Health & Safety professionally across partner sites and venues
