It is a 3 day (18 hour) course, designed to equip a person to take on the full role of a workplace first aider with comprehensive skills as per Health & Safety recommended guidelines.

What is the course about?

The Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) course is a 3‑day, practical first aid training programme for workplaces that need fully qualified first aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations. It is ideal for higher‑risk environments such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, warehouses, logistics and larger offices, where a more comprehensive first aid qualification is required.

This first aid at work course helps organisations to:

Who is the First Aid at Work course for?

If you have identified that first-aiders are needed in your workplace, you must ensure that those identified to be first aiders undertake training appropriate to the need – typically this may be the first aid at work (FAW) course.

The First Aid at Work training course is completed over 3 days, providing at least 18 guided learning hours.
