What is ELCAS?
ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service) is a Ministry of Defence (MOD) scheme designed to support service personnel with training costs for career progression after military service.
💡 If you have served between 6 and 8 years, you may be able to combine three lower-tier claims into one, giving you access to more funding at once.

Who is Eligible for ELCAS Funding?
To qualify for ELCAS funding, you must:
✔ Have completed at least 4 years of service for lower-tier funding
✔ Have served at least 8 years to access higher-tier funding
✔ Be registered with the ELCAS scheme before leaving the military
✔ Use the funding for a Level 3 qualification or higher
How Much Funding Can You Get?
The ELCAS funding system provides two levels of support:
🔹 Lower Tier (4+ years of service): Up to £1,000 per financial year
🔹 Higher Tier (8+ years of service): Up to £2,000 per financial year
If you have served between 6 and 8 years, you may be able to combine three lower-tier claims together.

Step 3: Pay Your Contribution & Book Your Course
ELCAS covers 80% of the course fee, and you pay the remaining 20%. Once your funding is approved, send us your Claim Authorisation Note (CAN) to confirm your place.
